DMEM/F12 is a mixture of DMEM medium (Dulbecco's Modified Eagle Medium) with Ham's F12 nutrient mix at 1 : 1, and is a widely used basal medium for supporting the growth of many different mammalian cells, including MDCK cell, glial cell, fibroblast cell, human endothelial cell, and rat fibroblast cell.
